I’m working on my story that might be considered fantasy, horror, thriller, or who knows what.
I don’t care what genre it fits, just so long as it ends up a good story. However, it’s nowhere near finished, therefore, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
I hope it’s worth the wait.
Hola Steve: Your “wait and see” Fantasy post today coincided with a bible scripture I read this early morning, so I thought I’d share it with you. It’s about when, how and why God “prunes” us—and it’s in the Gospel of John 15:2: “He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”
I paraphrase it like this. In life, we all go through a pruning process. God prunes our lives so we can bear much fruit. To “prune” means something is cut away, something is removed. God knows what we need in our life to grow and flourish. Sometimes when things happen that we don’t understand, we have to just trust that He is working behind the scenes preparing our road upward and forward.
When we’re going through transition, don’t get down and start thinking negative. Let go and trust that what God has for us in the future is greater than what we’re letting go of. Stay in faith and God will open new doors and bring new opportunities, new insights, and take us to higher levels of ability.
Doesn’t that sound and seem wonderfully peaceful and useful—especially for writers?
